Marvellous project, I think.

Any good Getting Started - Step by step in 15 minutes: Installing, configure and working Wolfpack?

The project will be continues development or dead with latests version v3? Any roadmap about it?

Anyways, why not working together?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Yes the focus is on creating more documentation and walk-thru's - the actual software is one part of the package and loses value without good docs/guides/how-to's. I will be adding to the [url:How-To section|https://wolfpack.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=HowTov3] over the next few weeks.

The immediate goal for Wolfpack right now is to integrate into dashboards and I am working on a) an adapter plugin that will transform and push a notification to a dashboard such as Geckoboard, Kibana etc and b) my own .net dashboard framework called [url:Periscope|https://periscope.codeplex.com/]

The roadmap is [url:here|https://wolfpack.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Roadmap] (a bit empty ATM) and the [url:WIP is on trello|https://trello.com/b/8gto1kYr]

Once dashboard integration is complete I may start to look at how Wolfpack can orchestrate/control/participate in deployment scenarios - however the focus will be on making it the best .net monitoring system!

Cheers and thanks for your support!

Great idea DAshboard .NET simple.

IMHO, The ideal world is working together Paramore (https://github.com/iancooper/Paramore/) and Wolfpack (https://wolfpack.codeplex.com/) and another like:

Asimov Deploy https://github.com/asimov-deploy by Torkel Ödegaard (@torkelo).

https://github.com/mmooney/Sriracha.Deploy

From all the good answers provided by everyone here I am now getting a better understanding of appropriate use of this topic and IMHO other programmers will definitely benifit from the

knowledge sharing here. Some of the implementations that I had worked in the past could have been better implemented using this knowledge.
IMHO, better samples for minimize learning curve are real applications with full source code and good patterns

Now this is the kind of invetigative reporting, that I am interested in. Real world problems, with real world solutions. Most real world solutions start with kick ass debugging.
